Hoist Operator

We are a temporary staffing agency seeking responsible Safety Officers to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines on various worksites. As a Safety Officer, you will be vital in promoting a safe workplace, identifying hazards, and implementing safety measures in line with regulations.

Your role will involve developing and updating safety policies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance, and responding to incidents. You'll work directly on-site to maintain safety standards, address potential risks, and support workers in creating a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement OHS policies and programs

  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety measures

  • Inspect work sites and personnel to identify safety issues

  • Oversee installations, maintenance, and disposal of materials

  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes to prevent accidents

  • Investigate incidents, handle worker’s compensation claims, and prepare detailed reports
