Best Personnel Inc is a leading agency based in New Westminster, BC. Our diverse company is responsible for filling temporary and full-time positions in the construction and general labour field. We are currently hiring for construction labourers. Our jobs start at $16/hour.

Requirements :
– Steel toe work boots, hard hat, reflective vest
– Able to perform any manual labour needs (Clean up, sweeping, packing materials, etc)
– Previous construction experience an asset but not required
– Physically fit, punctual, dependable and hardworking

Duties:

• Perform tasks involving physical labour at building, highway, and heavy construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations, and demolition sites
• Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove asbestos, lead, and other hazardous waste materials
• Assist other craft workers.
• Mop, brush or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection
• Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement
• Shovel cement and other materials into portable cement mixers; and mix, pour and spread concrete
• Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts
• Demolition
